Favorite lotions and body butters

A while ago I got on this kick of having lotion around 24/7.  This isn’t a bad thing, until you notice how quick you go through it. Which is also a good thing for me, not my pocketbook. I get bored of the same scent all the time. It’s like listening to the same song on the radio, after you’ve fallen in love with it then it becomes crazy popular and its way over played (we all know what that’s like).

With the change in seasons upon us I seem to be reaching for more and more moisturizers. Right now however I’m stuck with between 3 different kinds.

The Body Shop body butters are amazeballs. You think I’m kidding, I’m not. They’re rich and moisturizing, melting into your skin leaving it soft and smooth. Not to mention they have tons of different scents. My two all-time favorites are Coconut and Olive oil.

Some cool Facts:
“Our Community Fair Trade virgin organic coconut oil comes from coconuts that are organically grown in Samoa. The nuts are gathered, selected and cracked by hand, and the flesh is cold-pressed. Our trade with Women in Business Development Inc supports several community projects, such as teaching local farmers new skills. To find out more, visit our Community Fair Trade section.”
“Our Community Fair Trade shea butter comes from Ghana. Local women hand-harvest shea nuts, dry them in the sun and crack them to extract the kernels. These are roasted and ground into a paste to make the butter. Our trade with the Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association has helped to fund three medical centers and 10 nursery schools. The other lotion I’ve been loving lately is the Bath and Body works Cashmere Glow.  I use this when I get out of the shower. It leaves a nice soft scent nothing over powering. It smells of vanilla, peach, and cashmere musk. It leaves you really moisturized and feeling fresh and clean.

I haven’t noticed it leaning a greasy or oily feeling, and it’s not like you have to wait for your skin to soak it up before you put clothes on. I hate that feeling!

Both stores are having really good sales right now so I suggest you check them out!
