Favorite Scents of the Summer

I’m sure, like any other girl I know I have too many perfumes or body sprays, but I just like to have a selection of different kinds so it reflexes my mood.

I found this spray and OMG let me tell you it smells soooooo good!

I just bought the little bottle to be able to care it with me.

 “Forever Red” by bath and Body Works

For how fresh this scent is, it’s very complex to explain.
So I looked it up for a little help.

The description says,
“A touch of red is pure magic! Enjoy our most luxurious fragrance ever, as you lavishly spray on a passionate blend of pomegranate & red osmanthus with a sexy surprise of vanilla rum, for a forever enchanting way to fragrance.”

There are also a few different notes you can smell.

(Notes in perfumery are descriptors of scents that can be sensed upon application and throughout wearing the scent. Top: immediately upon application. Middle: scent that emerges just prior to when the top notes dissipate. Base: scent that appears close to the departure of the middle. Usually the middle and base together are the theme of the overall perfume)

That being said here’s the break down

Top: Fiery pomegranate, rare French peach, and luminous apple

Middle: Red Peony, night marigold, red osmanthus

Dry(base): Rich vanilla rum, velvety marshmallow, oak wood.

I know that’s a lot, but it’s definitely a scent you need to smell!

Bath and Body Works is having probably the best sale ever right now so I suggest going in and checking it out!

My other go to scent is,

Victoria’s SecretPink “Wild at Heart"

This scent just reminds me of summer, its fresh and care free. This scent also pairs well with Pink Summer daze scent.

I originally got this as a hand cream and I couldn’t put it down!
Not to mention the hand cream was really moisturizing.

The fragrance is more of a fruity floral, with notes of Red passion fruit and sheer musk

 I got these wedges at Target, these are probably the most comfortable pair of heels I own. I love these and end up wearing them probably 3-4 times a week!

I love this shirt! It's so comfortable and super soft. 

Maurices was having a wonderful sale, so why not get a few things!

The thing I love about this top is the fact that it's a high-low type. The back is lower so it doesn't feel like when you sit down it slides up or anything like that. Its meant to be flowy and kind of a dolman type shirt. It's made from a light weight fabric so its perfect for the summer time!

So lately I've been loving this watch. I'm usually the type where I get a watch or bracelet and wear it for like 3 weeks then I stop wearing it. I dont know, I'm strange like that, but this I have not gotten sick of. Its a rose gold watch so it goes with pretty much anything. and it's more of a boyfriend style watch, meaning that its a bigger style, but not bulky.

I'm not sure Target still sell this style or not, but if you like definitely go check it out. It reminds me of a Michael Kors watch without the big price tag. 

 Over the weekend we had a Crazy day sales event in the town that I live in. They block off main street and all the shops set things out on the street and have really good sale. Well one of the boutiques that always had amazing jewelry had this fabulous gem for sale and of course I had to get it!

For some reason lately I've been loving these light pastel colors, I'm not sure why, but what can I say. 

I'm not sure where you can find this exact necklace, but I'm sure Shoplately has something similar.

Lemon Sugar Face Scrub!

I always try and find different DIY things to do

so naturally when I watched Kandee Johnson on YouTube I was like.. "Yup gotta try that!"

So first you're going to take all your makeup off

 

 

 

Here's what you need

 

 

If you have a real lemon use that instead, but since I didn't have one I just used lemon juice.

You'll also need sugar, I used Organic cane sugar. 

Since you're using this on your face you want to make sure you're using good products. I found these packets at Target, but you just want to make sure you're using organic. 

You're going to use a cotton round pad 

Squirt some lemon juice on the round then sprinkle some sugar on it. 

Kinda spread it around a little so it soaks up the lemon juice. 

Then, rub it in a circular motion all over your face.

When you're done massaging it into your face for a while, make sure you get every inch of your face, wash it off with a warm cloth.

Your face will feel AMAZING. 

Freshly washed and feels super soft!
